Measuring Tape is a fashion object that examines the process instead of the garment itself. The act of construction often sits in the background, rendered as supplementary rather than fundamental. Influenced heavily by the masking tape craft culture of Japan, this work has the air of the handmade with the material itself forming its integral measuring units.
